One of Brooksville Hidden Treasures
Life is not complete unless Kim and I get to “Mykonos II” restaurant at least once a month for the best pulled pork dinner you ever had with their famous greek salad. The best eating around goes on here in our own backyard. After a hard day helping people buying a home in Brooksville, we are sure to tell them about Mykonos.
Dimitrios Filippakas is the head chef, and Mary is the gracious hostess. Dimitry was born in Greece and started Mykonos I in Danbury, CT, that is still being operated by his brothers today. Mary comes from Brooklyn, NY and they have teamed together since 1981. Mykonos II started in 1991. An extension to the restaurant was added in 1997 in order to accommodate the traffic from Brooksville as their popularity grew.
Currently their ratings are a 4.5 on Restaurants.com and 4 with Urbanspoon. The reviews are always complimentary when it comes to the pleasant atmosphere, cleanliness, service and food. You must try the Roast Pork which takes 10 hours to cook, the greek salad, spinach pie or a pizza.
Kim and I are selling this property and the 30 year business that will make a great investment for some lucky buyer. Mary and Dimitry want to pursue other dreams but would consider continuing to run the business for a period of time because they love Mykonos, like we love Mykonos, as we know you will love Mykonos II.
So if you are buying a home in Brooksville, then consider this property as a great investment and we can help you get yourself moving in the right direction. Give us a call.
