Odessa is located in Pasco County, Florida Northwest of Tampa. The population was at 3,173 in 2000 but more than doubled in 2010 to 7,267. Odessa has been an area of ranching, horse properties, and much open land. Since Tampa’s population is expanding, Odessa has seen many suburban Residential property developments. After you are done playing golf, you can relax in the newly renovated Golf View Lounge with 11 wide screen televisions with Direct TV and two swimming pools. They also offer golf outings, intimate dinners for twenty-five or formal events for two hundred. These towns reside right outside of Trinity which is one of the fastest growing communities in Florida right now.
Elfers is another located in Pasco County. The population was 13,161 at the 2000 Census. The Residential property development of Elfers did not begin until 1910. At that time business men who had lived in Tampa bought up all of the unimproved land because they believed the soil was the best in the state for the production of citrus fruits and vegetables. It was also the best protected sections as far as cold waves are concerned. They also saw the advantages for the building of winter homes. These men quietly sold to newcomers and to “home folks” as well, and because of that the section is developing rapidly. Within Trinity itself, there is a huge Residential Property development boom within this region. New apartment complexes, communities, and businesses are currently being developed. If you want a nice residential place to live right by Tampa, or want to open a business, this is the place to do it.
